One of the leisure period with my mum Mrs Johnson, I discussed about relocating to a new city to find a job, that might have more pay than what I earn from my Teaching job.
When I raised the topic, my mum objected that she doesn't want me to be too far from her. She added, I am so scared of the insecurity in the Country, I want you around so I can guarantee your safety even if Safety is of the Lord, we still have to help ourselves she exclaimed.
But why are you so scared mum I asked, you won't understand my daughter, I became so scared after the incident Mrs Dami told me about her husband. Who is Mrs Dami, I asked my mum, she is my gist partner on my Flight to Abuja last weekend.
Her name is Mrs Dami, she sat close to me, on the flight to Abuja for the Women conference. We got talking about a lot of things and finally landed on how she lost her husband during a business trip he went for in one of the Cities. When I asked about her husband and kids during the conversation.
According to Mrs Dami, "My husband's last words in that hospital bed still makes scared each time I hear of the security issues in the Country. People get scared listening to the News daily, the worst of it are the hidden incidents not televised or aired by the media just to lessen the fear among people.

Mrs Dami took a deep breath with her head facing the floor as she told the story of her husband's death. "I wept that Saturday morning when I got a call that my husband was hospitalized, reaching there I met him in a pool of blood as he managed the last strength in him to narrate the scene behind the bullet in his ribs. I was eager to hear him speak, even when the doctor asked him not to stress his nerves to speak, but he couldn't let go of my hand as he gasp for breath slowly with fear in his eyes.
I can feel the pain he was going through, the pain of a bullet and  also watching me cry and the fear of leaving me behind knowing fully well that he won't make it out alive.
