MY ENCOUNTER WITH MUNIBA MAZARI- BETHY WRITE.

I love listening and watching people speak on interesting life topics, as I am keen to learn from them to grow.

One evening, I got back from work tired and I  decided to take a bath, afterward pick one of the books have brought out to read which I couldn't finish for days. Immediately I picked up this PATRICK FORSYTH book on 'HOW TO WRITE REPORT AND PROPOSALS' I decided to check my phone before going ahead, as I turned on my data, a notification from VUSI THEMBEKWAYO popped up from YouTube. 


I clicked my YouTube to watch and the next video I saw was JACK MA one of China's biggest Entrepreneurs, while listening to Jack, I went on and on watching and I stumbled on this woman who Inspired me with her speech, only to realize on her second video that she was disable. With amazement, I was more interested in listening to this woman who defiled human perception towards DISABILITY. 

She sat on a Wheelchair giving motivational speeches to people who are not DISABLE, then I realized that Success is not about your Physical appearance but what you have set your mind to achieve, no matter the Situation before you that may pose as a weakness to you and even to those around you. What struck me was what she said in one of those speeches.


Muniba Mazari is the woman am talking about. 

She said, my son Nael, he loves football a lot. And when we got the very first football, he was 4 years old. He was super excited, I still remember he came in the room and said "mom let's play football" and he kept the ball in my feet, and he said "let's kick it" and that day, I felt DISABLED, I said "I cannot kick the ball" and I was down in my countenance, he looked at me and said "well that's alright your legs are not working but your hands do, let play "Catch the ball" 

You know what, that day my son made me realize that 'IF YOU THINK YOUR GLASS IS HALF-EMPTY, COME ON YOUR GLASS IS HALF-FULL'. 


It's all about your mind and your heart.

Determination is the key to unlock the gate of Impossibilities.
