The Tale of a Black Woman
This is Aluka an Africa woman who was the most sort after by almost every man in Uta community.
Some rumored she is a witch, some say she is fetish, some say it's her beautiful attitude that makes her a point of attraction.
Then we have her friends (Chida and Nulu) who are envious of how all the eligible young men want Aluka for marriage. Then we have Ede and Osu the most Prominent young men who have sworn each to win Aluka over as wife.
The parents of Aluka died during the war between two communities. Aluka was just a year old when her mum sister 'Osale' took her and ran to Uta community, where Osale settled and got married, taking Aluka as her first child, among her other children.
Aluka grew up with morals, ethics and poise due to the upbringing of her aunt Osale who taught her everything she knew, gave her all she wanted to fill the gap of a mother in Aluka's life.
Aluka's conservative nature made her and envy to her fellow peers as she hardly move around, she doesn't have friends until Chida and Nulu came to her.
When she grew to adulthood, men started showing interest in her, each with their different motive. But it was so obvious that a lot of young men are after Aluka, these led to some villagers and even her envious friends who spread rumours of different tales about her.
Tales like, Aluka is the most sort after Spinter in the Village because she is a witch, some say she uses charm on the men, the men who are attracted to her say it's the beauty of her character that makes her more attractive than many other girls in Uta community.
All those rumours are tales except the African nature in Aluka.
African women are taught how to behave well, with good morals, tender, hardworking and homely.
It takes a girl who wants to be that real African Woman to behave as she was properly raised, not following the character traits of people who don't have the African blood in them.
The African woman is an ideal woman who is homely with morals that distinguish her from others.
Not all African women have been able to carry that trait which was instilled by our parents and generations before. Many are now derailing from the ideal attitude to modern attitude that doesn't represent the True African Woman raised with Ethics.
Whatever you hear outside the African trait, it's nothing but a Tale.
