IRRELEVANT COMPARISONS

I stopped comparing myself with people when I became matured enough to know that some people's table was set before they were born, some after they were born and some of us are preparing the table ourselves.

You know the popular phrase, "those born with silver spoon" Yeah it's true and it's real.

I stop comparing myself with Mr A or Miss B because of the following;

1. FAMILY DIFFERENCES: Some people where privileged to be born into a home, were modern facilities were at their disposal.

FAMILY A, has children tablet, laptops for adults. cars to ride to school, monthly stipends to get whatever you need.

While FAMILY B, barely eat a well balanced diet, parents weren't educated, no money for fees and sometimes sent away from school.

Two homes with different lifestyle and privileges, yet children of family B are killing themselves with comparison daily.

2. EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND: Children from FAMILY A have all it takes to send their children to the best colleges anywhere in the World and they did it. 

Not just that, the best school had facilities that gave their children the best learning experiences in life with standards.

While FAMILY B having little, they managed to gather their entire savings to send their children to the community schools at their disposal.

School with no facilities and sometimes no quality teaching experiences.

Yet FAMILY B children are all out trying to destroy their life with comparison.

3. CAREER OPPORTUNITIES: Children of FAMILY A, get more opportunities to work at many top places they want, due to family connections, best colleges degree and level of knowledge he has gotten through the facilities at disposal.

While FAMILY B children who manage to financially stagger their way out from colleges that has no facilities, end up having no career opportunities due to responses like;

👉Your Educational background doesn't meet our company's standards.

👉You have no working experience, so we can't hire you. ( how can they have when no one is willing to give them a chance).😥

👉We have to consider those who went to great schools, before putting you into consideration.

After all these obstacles, Family B still finds a way to sort themselves out, sometimes go as far as begging  to be accepted in the career World.

Yet they ignorantly tread the path of comparison.

PS: Brethren, stay away from a life of comparison, rather aim to push harder than you were before.

Aim for personal growth and development not for public show.

Life isn't what you see about people, the only way to live healthy and last long in the path of Career, is for you to abstain from Comparison.

I stopped COMPARISONS after discovering the above mentioned few points. 

With God, we believe that every one of us will get whatever we desire in life.

NOTE: The most resourceful people where once rejected at the point of entrance.

PS: Employees should look more on potentials with the same notion they use for certifications.
